ABOUT THE TEACHER:

Gas­ton NICOLESSI, current­ly ran­ked 6th dan, holds a sta­te, sports-edu­cati­on diplo­ma (DEJEPS) and is an acti­ve mem­ber of the Nati­o­nal & Regi­o­nal Colle­ges of Experts of the FFAAA (French Fede­rati­on of Aiki­do, Aiki­bu­do and Affiliates).
Gas­ton star­ted with aiki­do when he was 11 years-old in 1983 in Mada­gas­car. He has practi­sed under the directi­on of Franck Noël sin­ce 1992.
He began tea­ching in Tou­lou­se in 1996, and has, sin­ce 2008, led nume­rous semi­nars in Fran­ce and abroad (Spa­in, Leba­non, Fin­land, Czech Republic…).
In 2002, Gas­ton found his own dojo in Cug­naux near Tou­lou­se and tea­ches a few regu­lar clas­ses at Franck NOEL’s dojo in Tou­lou­se (La Roseraie).
In 2018, Franck NOEL entrusts the con­ti­nuati­on of La Rose­raie (the very dojo he foun­ded in 1988) to Gas­ton NICOLESSI. Gas­ton has been acting as the Dojo-Chô of La Rose­raie sin­ce then. Sin­ce 2020 he is respon­si­ble for the two week long Ole­ron sum­mer school.
